Landscape Photography
Landscape photography shows the spaces within the world, at times vast and infinite, but at other times microscopic. Landscape photographs generally capture the presence of nature, but can also focus on man-made features or things that disturb the landscape. Landscape photography is done for a variety of reasons. Perhaps the most common one is to remember an observation or a personal experience in the open air, especially when traveling. Others pursue this kind of photography in particular as an outdoor lifestyle, so as to be involved with nature and the elements, some as an escape from the artificial world. Many landscape photographs show little or no human activity and are created in pursuit of a representation of pure, untouched nature, devoid of human influence, instead with strongly defined subjects such as morphologies, time and environmental light.
